To All 3G Participants;
It seems like yesterday that 3G Hockey opened its doors to a
new way of educating young hockey players. The notion of having
position specific training in very small intimate groups with high
end instruction was unheard of.
This exact formula became 3G’s staple and a successful
one for the last 10 years.
Our concern was always the athlete and their development. Over
the years I have bumped into many kids who attended our 3G Hockey
camps and had the pleasure of instructing and were glad to hear
that in most cases we made a difference.
To run a program like this takes a huge commitment from Luke,
Andrew and I. Unfortunately a commitment the 3 of us will not be
able to put forth this summer.
I cannot thank Luke Richardson and Andrew Fourney enough for
their tireless work to make 3G’s programs the best in the
city. Their approach teaching beliefs mirrored my own which led
to a fantastic team. I was blessed to have them for this period
of time.
I would also like to thank my son Wyatt as well as Jim Kyte,
Dave Ellett, Donald Audette, Dan Mcgillis, Steve Bisson, John Chabot,
Rob Murphy and Kent Manderville for their time in a 3G Hockey tracksuit.
All brought valuable instruction and recognition to 3G Hockey and
its participants.
I would be remiss without thanking Russ at Imatic’s for
building and maintaining my website all these years. I also want
to thank the only sponsor my company has ever had, Combat Sports.
To Dave, Steve and Joel, your time and patience as well as generosity
were so genuine. Your product is NHL calibre and you guys care
about the development of young players in our region.
In closing, my only message is to continue to enjoy the game
you all love so much. Take care and stay healthy.
